“Birnging energy for the Paris Olympics 2024, by commisioning Illustrators from every continent to create Olympics Yoodles”

As the world readied itself for the Paris 2024 Olympics, we were tasked by YouTube to launch their next iteration of Yoodles -
their timely artworks that celebrate cultural moments.

We worked with illustrators based out of each continent to capture different sporting communities, across
Wrestling, Golf, Gymnastics, Running and Table Tennis, creating 5 illustrations and animations to feature on YouTubes landing page.

We drew inspiration from YouTube's sporting community from everyday runners to ping pong enthusiasts.
Celebrating them and their platform as a place of shared passion, no matter where you are in the world.

Our challenge was to bring the action of each sport to life in a small format whilst maintaining legibility and impact.
We used a limitied colour palette and considered how movement, expression and form would translate from storyboard to animation.

WRESTLING HOMEPAGE PROMO

WRESTLING YOODLE

Wrestling can be perceived as a more competitive sport, but London-based Taiwanese illustrator An Chen brought a playfulness
to the depiction of the sport. With clean, angular lines and shapes, she transforms organic objects into bold, dynamic designs.

GOLF HOMEPAGE PROMO

GOLF YOODLE

Bringing inspiration from nature and the nostalgic style of graphic art of the 70’s, Austin-based illustrator Kate Delher elevated
the experience of golf, celebrating the shared community spirit and playfulness of golf in her illustration.

GYMNASTICS HOMEPAGE PROMO

GYMNASTICS YOODLE

Working with illustrator Daniel Batista, based in Guarapuava, Brazil, we created vibrant, energetic and core-strong illustrations,
celebrating the fun and magic of Gymnastics on YouTube through Daniel’s strong characters, vibrant colours, and funny narratives.

RUNNING HOMEPAGE PROMO

RUNNING YOODLE

For Running, it was no surprise that we collaborated with Jack Fletcher, Edinburgh-based illustrator (and passionate runner)
whose dynamic linework and wide-angle perspectives made us want to get up and sprint around the studio.

TABLE TENNIS HOMEPAGE PROMO

TABLE TENNIS YOODLE

Cape Town-based illustrator Russell Abrahams sparked the high energy of table tennis with his playful and colourful,
